Breakfast is a continental-style buffet, comprising a selection of cold meats, cheeses, a fresh fruit platter, stewed fruit, dried fruits, yoghurts and cereals, including our own homemade granola (ask nicely and we may give you the recipe).
In addition to breads and rolls, we freshly-bake croissants every morning. To accompany these there are jams, marmalade and honey from the local berry farm.
If you prefer, we will also prepare you a cooked option, such as bacon, eggs (any way you like), sauteed mushrooms and tomato.
Although the buffet is served in the dining room, during summer most guests prefer to eat on the patio next to the fish pond, or in the dining room, with its log fire, during the cooler months.
