Franschhoek Accommodation (Franschoek)

Luxurious accommodation in the heart of Franschhoek

In the beautiful Cape Winelands of South Africa, nestled beneath majestic mountains, lies the historical village of Franschhoek.

Widely known as the “Food and wine capital of South Africa”, Franschhoek boasts some of the best restaurants in the country, together with numerous wine estates.

Only one hour from Cape Town and twenty minutes from both Paarl and Stellenbosch, Franschhoek makes the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy the area.

Les Chambres Guest House is situated in the heart of the village, offering luxurious accommodation and personal service. Located within easy walking distance of the main road, where most of the restaurants and shops are situated.

The village has become one of the top destinations for visitors to South Africa. It is estimated that one in six visitors to South Africa, visits Franschhoek. Upon your first visit you will understand why; the entire valley, not just the village itself, is breathtaking.

Franschhoek Accommodation At Its Best

Franschhoek, Franschoek or Franshoek?

These are but three of the most common 'spellings' of the village name. Others include: breaking the word into two, as in Fransche Hoek (which is the name of a new estate just outside the village); Franchoek and Franchhoek. Even many locals from Cape Town incorrectly spell the name as Franschoek. The correct spelling, Franschhoek, actually has two 'h' characters.
However, whether you use Franschhoek, Franschoek, Franshoek, Francheok or any other spelling, the fact remains the same - it's a great place to visit.
